The annual Holiday Bazaar and craft vendor event at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Papaikou is scheduled for 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday. Everyone is invited.

Ramona Uemura has offered her bath and hooded towels each year, and this weekend monogramming will be available on-site. Other items include pan covers, hair wraps, dish towels and shower gel gift sets for Christmas.
Sharon Paopao, acting minister for the Order of Secular Franciscans-St. Joseph Fraternity, again will have her ono fruit cakes, along with potpourri warmers, coffee mugs and candles. Ann Pacyao will have an array of baby items to choose from, including baby futons, burp rags and stuffed animals, as well as her Mason jar mugs.
Richelle Estrada loves working with fabric and creating a wide variety of items, including bags, kitchen towel sets, and baby items.
Carlen Pacheco will inspire shoppers with her creative handmade jewelry pieces she will display Saturday only.
Charlene Luiz, who loves working with koa, will display her beautiful koa necklaces, bracelets, earrings, back scratchers and jewelry boxes Sunday only.
Items for sale throughout the bazaar will include Chinese pretzels, Chex mix, pickles, lilikoi butter, a variety of cookies, Marie’s banana bread, a selection of religious and Christmas items, handmade Christmas cards, plants and produce. A concession will be open each day.

Funds raised during the Holiday Bazaar and craft event will help send several church parishoners to the three-day Religious Education Congress and Youth Day activities in March 2015 in Los Angeles.
Those scheduled to attend the event include Oarlene Wingate, Holiday Bazaar and craft event co-chairperson and Immaculate Heart of Mary Religious Education coordinator; Inez Johnson, High School Youth Ministry coordinator; catechists Reynard Galdones, Kesha Kubo, Jimmy Pratt Jr. and Callie Villanueva; youth members Christine Joy Galdones, bazaar and craft event co-chairperson Travis Greenleaf, Shelly Wingate and Marie Roberts of St. Joseph School.
